The challenge

Live music events are losing authenticity as excessive smartphone use distracts audiences and artists. Current solutions like Yondr pouches are inconvenient, costly, and unsustainable, while camera stickers are easily removable. These methods also block all phone functions, including emergency access. There’s a clear need for a solution that ensures immersion without compromising safety and accessibility.

The solution

Blind is a ticketing platform for non-phone policy events. Our system activates a smart lock mode on smartphones, disabling cameras and social media while keeping emergency calls and payments accessible. The Blind app enhances the experience with token-based purchases for drinks and merchandise, reducing wait times and fostering social connections. We aim to restore the raw, immersive magic of live music distraction free yet safe and convenient.
