Mission

1. Provide custom modular 3D printing solutions in a fast and easy way to researchers who don’t have the time or expertise to develop these themselves. 2. Provide custom 3D printing solutions to free researchers to pursue what really matters.

The challenge

Our startup addresses the gap between scientific research needs and the engineering expertise required to build customized 3D fabrication systems. Chemistry and biology research groups often require specialized polymer, extrusion-based, or elastomer constructs tailored to specific experimental parameters. However, commercial 3D printers rarely offer the flexibility or control needed, while building or modifying systems in-house demands advanced engineering knowledge that many labs lack. As a result, researchers face delays, outsourcing costs, and inefficient trial-and-error processes. We aim to provide fast, cost-effective, and reconfigurable fabrication systems that translate scientific requirements into reliable hardware without requiring extensive engineering expertise.

The solution

We will provide the components and assembly steps for a 3D printer that meets the exact requirements that the specific research group has. We will use our in-house expertise on printing setups and our own collection of components to fulfill the requirements, e.g. Nozzle shapes and sizes, motors with variable speeds or high accuracy, UV light curing units, custom frame setups to be integrated with other machines. The depot will be located in Europe (Germany due to shipping connections) and will have much faster lead times than ordering from Asia with the added benefit of excellent customer service post sale in the researcher's language.
