Our mission is to make precision agriculture truly scalable

The challenge

As rural populations decline, demographic change is felt especially hard in agriculture. Moreover, intensive farming degrades the soil and threatens future yields. Precision agriculture with drones is often seen as a solution to reduce pesticides and increase automation. But while drones have become very affordable already, few farmers actually use them. That is because flying a drone is difficult, tightly regulated and carries risk. To really let precision agriculture unfold its potential, we cannot expect overburdened farmers to also become drone pilots and data analysts themselves.

The solution

Endex offers aerial intelligence as a service. Taking over piloting, insurance, maintenance and data analysis, farmers can benefit from crop monitoring day-to-day without any extra work. Our remote piloting framework enables specialists to survey vast areas from central hubs, avoiding unnecessary trips. Moreover, intelligent data fusion and optimised path planning minimise the necessary flight time, outperforming any free-lance drone pilot. We aim to become one of the first EASA-licensed light-uas operators, which drastically reduces regulatory burdens and makes precision agriculture truly scalable!
