We empower MS patients with an innovative home training device that makes hand function rehabilitation accessible, engaging, and effective, ensuring independence in daily life even when professional assistance is unavailable.

The challenge

MS patients with loss in handfunction rely on access to grasping hand function rehabilitation therapy for daily independence. Due to increasingly overloaded healthsystem, in the future less hours of help of health professionals are available which could lead to less accesible therapy for MS patients. ​

The solution

To ensure accessible hand function rehabilitation for MS patients experiencing hand function loss, we aim to develop a home training device designed to restore grasping ability, including strength and coordination needed for daily tasks such as toothbrushing, eating, and writing. By making rehabilitation engaging and effective, we empower MS patients to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life without the help of a healthcare professional.
